Make Mimi 7249
Reg #: 663262
Make Mimi is another sire utilized in our program for his combination of
balanced trait genetics and outcross pedigree. We utilized him mainly
on heifers and got along very well in terms of calving ease and birth
weight. Although he does post solid carcass numbers, especially
marbling, we are even more impressed with his daughters and feel that
may be his real strong suit. Make Mimi is a Calving Ease and carcass leader
in the Red Angus breed. He ranks in the top 7% for marbling and is in the
top 1/3 of the breed for all carcass traits. His -2.4 BW EPD ranks in the
top 15% as does his milk EPD.

Cherokee Canyon
Reg #: 574873
Cherokee Canyon is a favorite of Bergers Herdmasters. He is a bull that
has done so many thing right, not only for our program but for the Red
Angus breed as a whole and has firmly established himself as one of the
most influential sires of all times. He consistently moderates frame,
adds muscle mass, and enhances body density like no sire of any breed
has ever done before. Look for Cherokee Canyon progeny to be solid
performance cattle with extra muscle on a conservative frame. His sons
perform well, scan great, possess excellent testicular development, and
have the visual muscle we all appreciate.
Cherokee Canyon has been the heaviest used
bull in the Red Angus breed. He ranks in the top 1% for REA, 15% for
marbling and 25% of the breed for BW, WW, and YW- WOW! What’s really
wonderful is Cherokee accomplishes this genetic marvel, with increased
muscle mass and without increasing frame. His calves are some of the most
moderate in our sale. Sons of Cherokee have been the high selling red sire
group for the last 2 years in our sale. ABS describes Cherokee as, “The
breed’s most complete performance and carcass sire” and they have sold twice
as much semen on Cherokee than any other Red Angus bull in their history.

LCC Ribeye A133L
Reg #: 790789
LCC Ribeye is a new
sire utilized in our program and one that we are very excited about.
With his first calf crop we were very impressed with the moderate to low
birth weights and the ability to grow. Look for Ribeye progeny to be
especially deep bodied, easy fleshing cattle with a sound structure and
attractive, balanced design. We have some very impressive Ribeye sired
heifer calves walking our pastures. As you expect he posts and
impressive EPD tabulation for moderate birth weights, growth, and Ribeye
area. |

LCC Major
League A502M
Reg #: 832407
Major League was a sire that was initially used as the next step beyond
his sire Cherokee Canyon.. He sires cattle with the same growth and
performance but does add extra length of body to his progeny, with a
more correct hind leg. He reads with a very impressive script, ranks in
the top 4% of the breed for REA and was the 2nd most heavily used sire
in 2006. We expect him to carry on the tradition set by his sire of
consistent, profitable cattle. |

Dakota
Copper 29K
Reg #: 0709597
Dakota Copper is a sire the we elected to utilize in our program for an
outcross pedigree to Cherokee Canyon as well as a source of balanced
trait genetics. Reports indicate that Dakota Copper sires beautiful
females with awesome teat and udder quality as well as superb structural
integrity. With the first calf crop in the books in our program, we
have found that he sires progeny with extra attractiveness, sound
structures, a very balanced design, and lower birth weights. His heifer
calves were some of the most impressive in the pastures this summer. |

LCC Above & Beyond
1300J
Reg #: 662722
Above and Beyond is our source for sure fire calving ease genetics. A
bull with a highly proven EPD profile, Above and Beyond sires thrifty,
easily born calves that mature into long body attractive made cattle.
We have been very impressed with the Above and Beyond females as bred
heifers and females in production. They are moderate in frame, have
extra muscle, and a balanced design. Do you want to sleep all night when calving
heifers. Well you may be able to with these Above and Beyond sons. Ranking
in the top 1% for Calving Ease Direct (CED) and BW his calves still grow and
are above breed average for growth in YW EPD and marbling. His Dam is sired
by Robin Hood the premier growth bull of the breed and is also the mother of
